Use conditioners sparingly

If you’re going to use conditioner, it’s definitely a smart idea to use it sparingly; only use it on the tips. It would be a good idea to cut out conditioner all together if you can, they provide moisture to your hair which only adds to the greasiness.

Avoid brushing hair too much

Believe it or not, brushing your hair too much can actually make the greasiness worse. By constantly brushing your hair, you are distributing the oil throughout your hair.

Wash hair every day

Washing hair every day is the simplest remedy on this list. By washing your hair every day, it removes the build-up of grease and oil.

Lemon juice

Repeat twice a week.

Let the mix settle in your hair for 10 minutes. Wash thoroughly with warm water, or even better, cold.

Baking soda is a great method of combating oily hair. But it must be used in a diluted form. Mix one tablespoon of baking soda with a bottle of water. Shake the bottle. Use this remedy to rinse hair after washing. Use twice a week.

Drinking Water

It’s common knowledge that people should aim to drink atleast 7 glasses of water every day. Water aids the process of flushing toxins out of the body. Anyone seeking healthy, grease free hair should drink plenty of water.
